On November 1, 2013, Biomark Capital Partners effected a transfer of the portfolio and core team of Burrill Capital Fund IV(BCF IV) from Burrill & Company. Biomark Capital provides venture funding and assistance to early, mid, and late-stage life science companies. We target companies with novel approaches to diagnostics, therapeutics, medical devices, and digital health that will change the face of healthcare innovation in the future. We share the drive and vision of our portfolio companies to collaborate with them in accelerating growth and building successful business ventures.

Helped plan the development of the board and management team, while the company introduced its first ground breaking hyper spectral imaging technology to the market. I ended up purchasing 100% of the company and lead the reconstitution of the business model to a handheld form factor, which is under development and should lead to a much broader market acceptance.

Developer of clinical grade lentiviral vector for superior cell and gene therapy, and production of biologics and vaccines. Pipeline includes therapies for CLL, melanoma, glioblastoma, and hemophilia and vaccines for hepatitis C, HIV, 5nd seasonal influenza.

Company developed superior flexible, reconstrainable stent for peripheral applications. Company was sold to JNJ's Cordis division in March, 2013.

GBP Capital merged with Burrill & Company (B&C) in December, 2011. B&C is focused on providing venture capital and management assistance to companies with next generation therapeutics, medical devices,diagnostics, healthcare information technology.
