It’s something I’m incredibly passionate about, along with my desire to help other businesses in this sector succeed. My specialism is arable farming. I’ve also trained as an Agronomist and have an appreciation of the needs of plants as well as how to optimise yields. Further to this, I am FACTS qualified and therefore understand the land, soil and necessary fertilisers. It was my wealth of knowledge and experience which first brought me to Pessl Instruments and from there I decided to launch the UK arm of the business, to which I now offer customers solutions for them to monitor their crops on their own farm, using their own equipment. I’m delighted to be part of the evolution of UK farming by utilising smart technologies and actionable data to create sustainable farming.Metos UK helps farmers and growers, along with agronomists to become more connected to their local climate. The opportunities from there are immense.
