SOYL is a precision farming service company who create variable rate application fertiliser & seed plans for growers across the UK. As Agricultural Development Manager, I managed the fertilisers plans for growers across the East Midlands, arranging their soil/tissue sampling, interpreting the results and making nutritional recommendations.My role also encompassed bringing new products & services to market where I was instrumental in the development of SOYL's soil health report looking at the wider interactions between Macro and Micro nutrients. I was also involved with remote sensing projects for yield prediction, variable rate cultivation and irrigation. While in post I had the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative and progressive farmers in the UK, enhancing and developing their agribusinesses with precision agriculture.
