Duty Truck Labourer/DriverMy responsibilities:• Operating and maintaining a wide variety of different vehicle, plant and equipment within relevant laws and regulations. Some of these include (not limited to) - Duty Truck, Fork Lift, Front end loader, Welders, Line marking machines, Oxy accetylene, water pumps, vehicle loading crane and many items of small plant/equipment.• Accountable for creating and capturing accurate and complete records of the business activities. This includes hard copy and electronically. • Project member for new Maintenance Management System - This project goal is to replace a paper based management system.• Respond to emergencies, customer requests and complaints in a courteous manner and ensure work is undertaken efficiently and ensure quality standards are met.• Request For Services (RFS) include activities such as roadside furniture repair and maintenance, drainage repair/blockages, maintaining and installing road infrastructure assets, traffic management and line marking.OHS representativeI am the elected OHS representative for Infrastructure Operations (Works - North Zone). My responsibilities as the representative are:• Participate in departmental OHS meetings• Participate in the City Services - OHS Strategy 2013-2015 project group• Participate in Divisional and Central OHS committee meetings • Respond to workers OHS concerns and queries• Progress concerns and queries to appropriate management area• Liaise with Safety Advisor on a regular basis• Consult with Management, employees and Union regarding a wide range of safety issues/concerns • Seek advice from WorkSafe
