I have over 20 years experience in development and manufacture of medical devices and a 1st Class Mechanical Engineering degree. I was until recently with Atlas Genetics / binx health where I took the company’s first product (a point of care PCR system for detection of infectious diseases) from prototype through to high volume supply. This covered all aspects of the platform- electronics, software, mechanical, plastics, sample collection kit and custom reagents including enzymes, primers and probes.Previously at DNA Electronics I developed and set up supply chain for prototypes of the worlds' first truly portable point of care real-time PCR system.I previously worked for PA Consulting’s Technology & Innovation Practice and have also worked in development, validation and manufacturing roles for diagnostics and pharmaceutical companies and contract manufacturers.
