Duties: • Placement of H2S safety equipment in accordance with the H2S contingency plan, including maintenance and scheduled servicing to ensure the continued suitability of all H2S safety equipment in remote locations. • Effective training of all personnel in H2S Safety, alarm procedures and equipment use. • Supervision of all H2S drills. • Monitor the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment and following related procedures. • Completion of all company and client documentation including field tickets and log books. • Liaising with management with any issues, reports and communications as appropriate. This includes end of job briefings and proactive contribution to the successful implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental policies and processes.

Aberdeen, Saudi Arabia (Khobar)

Employed within the Wellbore Productivity division in Saudi Arabia within MI-Swaco (Schlumberger) with Saudi Aramco as our main client supervising and operating the use of Wellbore Clean up tools. Facilitating clean up operations and liaising with Rig/third party personnel. Compiling downhole BHA's/Pipe tally sheets and successfully managing Wellbore clean up displacement operations.

Baghdad

Working with a global risk management and security Company to provide Close Protection for the British Ambassador and Diplomats of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, British Embassy and European Union justice and law Diplomats as they travel throughout Baghdad.• Evaluating security risks to the Principal or premises and formulating operational security plans by conducting dynamic Risk Assessments.• Providing detailed analysis for early identification and prevention of threats before they occur.• Conducting premises security audits and route and venue reconnaissance.• Mission Trauma Care Specialist providing immediate medical assistance to casualties in hostile areas.

Deputy Team Leader conducting maritime security operations within the Gulf of Aden and high-risk areas of the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, for UK based Maritime Security company, ensuring the security of client assets in transit through high risk areas.• Formulated and implemented bespoke training packages for the ship’s officers and crew to detect, delay and deter any hostile boarding attempts, from physical vessel protection measures and weapons training, to obtaining the latest intelligence updates and emergency response procedures• Led crew through practiced safety plan when under attack from pirates.• Provided daily and weekly intelligence and performance reports for Management.• Liaised with shipping agents when vessel neared land to arrange pilot boats to pick up crew, visas and onward travel.

Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines(FPGRM) 2009-2011Led team responsible for conducting Personnel Security Details (PSD), including close protection for VIP’s, high ranking officials and executives from Umm Qasr to the Iraqi oil platforms. Mastiff commander and overall second in command of 22 man combat logistic patrols convoying from Basra to Kuwait.Part of a 22 man troop ensuring final denial is achieved for the UK’s nuclear deterrent at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde at Faslane, planning troop training and all section level tactics.Managed team discipline, fitness and welfare to ensure personnel at optimum operational strength.45 Commando 2006- 2009 Led Manoeuvre support group, including the maintenance and serviceability of weapons, surveillance equipment and vehicles, continually ensuring the welfare, discipline and physical fitness of 8 man team.Conducted offensive operations against a highly determined and aggressive enemy force in an extremely hazardous environment on Operation Herrick, in Southern Helmand, Afghanistan. Member of the operational mentor liaison team, training and mentoring Afghanistan National Army. Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines(FPGRM 2002 - 2006 Member of boarding team based near horn of Africa and the Gulf, carrying out maritime interdiction operations in order to prevent piracy and smuggling. Conducted over 125 boarding’s including non-compliant boarding’s to safeguard critical oil infrastructure. Instructed trainees for a newly formed Iraqi Navy on Operation Telic.Carried out ship protection operations, protecting merchant Naval vessels from piracy attacks throughout the world, including the Gulf of Aden, Suez Canal and Northern Arabian Gulf.Conducted boarding patrols in Northern Ireland as part of Operation Banner in order to safeguard port manoeuvres.
