As the Fixed Plan Maintenance Engineer, I have been able to improve safety, maintenance activities and process at Nammuldi and Brockman2.The specific functions within the Fixed Plant Engineering team include:• Imbed PDS digital conveyor inspections, workflow processes, idler management, and reporting.• Roll out the mobility solution tablet project to the Fixed Plant Maintenance and Operations teams.• Install chute wear monitoring systems and integrate reporting to PM01’s using the email BOT.• Complete multiple chute design reviews with stakeholders and vendors to increase change out frequencies by improving chute wear life properties.• Lead the 6wk to 12k shut strategy review project – Review current maintenance tactics to improve maintenance tasks, review personal loading, Screens, Crushers and Chute change out tactics, etc.• Run the daily AMPLA and downtime review meetings, conduct 5-Why’s and incident investigations with the RE team.• Complete wet plant safety projects – Concreting hazardous areas, installing water lines and water cannons, etc.• Replaced overhead bridge and gantry cranes that were at their end of life.• Upgraded belt filter support fans and vacuum boxes and hold down rollers.• Installed ELW manual conveyor tracking frames and installed upgrades guide rollers.• Completed multiple engineering projects during modular and maintenance shutdowns safely and on budget.
