Over the past 20 years, I have worked to converge furniture and industrial design with biomedical engineering and neuroscience. The intersection of these somewhat polarised fields and cultures offers significant opportunities for innovation in health and well-being. With this blend of design and science, I have pioneered technology that offers access to advanced forms of meditation, the nature of which is challenging our ideas on human consciousness.As part of this journey, I co-founded DavidHugh, which is emerging as an entirely new category of wellness innovation, deeply rooted in both scientific research and design thinking.
