Through my responsibilities as a Safety Coordinator and Safety Technician, I have developed the ability to identify, correct, and communicate safety issues in a professional manner. I have been a member of several successful teams and lead many collaborative kaizen events to reduce the injuries to our employees. I have developed various safety innovations that have protected our employees from the hazards at the facility. Prior to obtaining my current position within the company, I worked injury-free at both Idaho Pulp and Paper and the Consumer Products Division producing quality products while gaining valuable process experience. I possess the written, verbal, and computer skills necessary to excel in my profession. I have developed, planned, and implemented many risk reducing initiatives that collectively minimized or eliminated injuries at the Lewiston site. I use my computer skills on a daily basis to document and communicate the results of monthly and annual audits to ensure compliance with facility, corporate, and government requirements.In my personal time, I am committed to being actively involved in my local community. I have assisted in various capacities with the local Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as the Civil Air Patrol. I participate in civic service by assisting with public road clean-ups, food bank collections, and stream restoration projects.
