As part of a restaurant team, I have a variety of responsibilities that I take extremely seriously. Some of these include:1. Pot-washing-Any pieces of cutlery, mugs, tea cups, bowls of any shape or size, oven/baking trays, cooking tools and any essential piece components included with a coffee grinder, hot tea water machine, and coffee maker.2. Coffee Making have to (whenever I can anyway) make coffee of any type for myself, my line manager, my work colleagues and most importantly of all, our customers whenever it is ordered.3. Tea Making- I have to (whenever I can anyway) make a tea of any type for myself, my line manager, my work colleagues and most importantly of all, our customers whenever it is ordered.4. Clearing Tables- I have to clear tables around the restaurant of any leftover mess with serving trays and place them on a rack so that when it becomes full, I can clean them all at once using a mechanical pot washer as said at No.15. Evacuation in both fire drills & and real fires- I evacuate the public in the restaurant or wherever I am placed in the garden centre through the nearest possible fire exits to a meeting point outdoors (still waiting to test myself out though).6. Floor Sweeping- Me & the team throughout the day will use a long-handled dustpan & and brush to sweep flour in the restaurant and kitchen of any dust, crisp packets, dropped food, tissues etc.7. Hot Chocolate Making- I have to (whenever I can anyway) make Hot Chocolate of any versions for myself, my line manager, my work colleagues and most importantly of all, our customers whenever it is ordered.8. Floor Cleaning- Towards the end day we will use a mop and a floor cleaner substance to mop flour in the restaurant and kitchen area. This ensures that the floor is already clean at the end of the day and a day in advance for the next day.9. Table Wiping- Using disinfectant and a cloth to wipe the customer's tables clean when required.And so much more.
