Under the direction of the CIO, manage technology finance accounts, budgets, IT chargebacks, and HR processes for the department. Manage the Applications Divisions.

As the Infrastructure Manager, I am responsible for strategic planning, budget, and project management for all infrastructure needs. Manage the server administrators, network/telephone staff, and security administration for the county. In addition to the duties of being the IS Infrastructure Manager county wide, I serve as the onsite manager of technology for the Health Department and played a key role during the transition of combining the health department IT with the central IT department.Have been responsible for security audits for the past few years and have worked diligently to improve the various audit scores and have made great strides to update security products and policies as necessary. On an annual basis, I conduct County Wide Security Awareness Training for all employees and coordinate 3rd party Security/Vulnerability Audits. I have earned the Certified Information Services Manager (CISM) certification and am well versed in compliance standards for HIPAA, CJIS, PCI DSS, IRS, and financial systems.Led many projects within Cumberland County over the past 12 years and have been a PMI Certified Project Management Professional since 2013.Was the project manager for:- moving from physical to virtualized servers,- replacement of the enterprise wide finance/HR system,- planning and procurement of the enterprise document management system,- replacement and implementation of real time site to site replication, hyper-converged systems, and stretch clustered data center technologies,- replacing PRI telephone trunks with SIP trunks,- moving to a hosted disaster recovery as a service system,- replacement of the 911 infrastructure system.

Responsible for all aspects of IT for the Public Safety departments including Police, Fire, and 911 Center. In this position, I acted as the IT manager and worked very close with the executive levels of these departments. I introduced many technologies centered around officer safety, mobility, surveillance, GIS mapping, sharing information with citizens, and meeting statutory requirements.

Team lead for twelve Workstation Support Specialists while contracted to the Robeson County School Systems. Lead the successful implementation of moving all schools to a Microsoft Active Directory Platform, and replacing or upgrading school system computers. Also served as the Enterprise Domain Administrator for the Active Directory system and helped manage the Microsoft System Configuration Center Manager (SCCM) for automating computer imaging and software deployment.

Managed all desktop computers, servers, email, and networking for Alamac Knits Division of West Point Pepperell in 5 manufacturing facilities plus sales offices in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas. I installed and configured the original Lotus Notes email system, and setup WAN connectivity for all of the Alamac division sites. Also installed and managed Citrix servers for thin client operations.

Manage inventories of repair parts and general supplies that support ships, squadrons, and shore-based activities. Inventory database management, procurement, and warehouse management.

I started one year before this facility being opened. I setup the original network, servers, and WAN connection from Tarheel, NC to Smithfield, VA headquarters. I was responsible for all desktops, servers, network systems, time keeping system, and the tracking system used to track livestock from receiving to kill to cut to shippping. Another one of my assignments was to assist the cost accountant in creating the original cost accounting system for the purchase of livestock.
