My key role within Benoy was leading my own design team and overseeing the delivery of large projects across the Asia region. My time at Benoy was spent on numerous projects but the highlights would be:- Project Leader and Lead Designer on the MIPIN Gold award winning LKF Wuxi Scheme, Wuxi, China - Project Leader for the TRX Master Plan and KL Metropolis Master Plan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Project Leader for the delivery of a major competition in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand

My time at Mixity was spent helping to set up the brand new London office. I was one of the first members of staff so was given the chance to meet clients, attend all design workshops, coordinate projects and travel on my own to Europe to represent the company and present our designs to local governments. Mixity gave me a chance, at an early stage of my career, to gain huge experience and get involved in all aspects of the design practice.

I joined HOK after finishing my degree and started as an AA. I was involved straight away in a large 5 star hotel development in the west of London. I got heavily involved in the detailed design package and became an integral part of the the team. My major achievement at HOK was to be given the role of project co-ordinator on a vast mixed use project in Medeu, Kazakhstan. The size of this project and the incredibly tight deadline meant a team of 18 people worked full time for 12 months to complete the design and produce the package of drawings. Despite the amount of people we still had to out source some of the drawing work to Vietnam. I was solely responsible for putting together the whole package of drawings and liaised daily with the Vietnam office to make sure they understood and could produce the drawings. This project gave me a real thorough understanding of the processes involved in producing a detailed design package.
