• Responsible for the internal and external financial reporting across the Group which includes 8 subsidiaries, a branch and numerous joint venture operations across New Zealand and formerly Australia. This includes preparation of the annual statutory financial statements and monthly financial reports along with the financial performance report to the Board and Executive Leadership Team.• Manage a team of 4 direct reports and 8 indirect reports which are responsible for financial and administrative functions. This includes setting and leading the team culture, communicating roles and responsibilities, as well as conducting appraisals and setting KPIs.• Member of Ravensdown’s Treasury and Purchasing and Planning committees which are responsible for the parameters of the treasury policy and the confirmation of annual hedging requirements.• Responsible for the taxation direct and indirect obligations including transfer pricing of the Group.• Management of cash cycle including forecasting.• Responsible for the financial reporting of the Group 18 month quarterly rolling forecast process. Within this process the annual budget is derived and presented to the Ravensdown banking syndicate.• Acting CFO on numerous occasions covering annual leave and including extended overseas study leave of current CFO.• Leader of financial policy initiatives.• Oversight of the company’s operating cash flows, including monitoring the cash position and expected future cash flows.
