I was employed as a gallery assistant and the role included sales and administration duties along with graphic design, marketing and copywriting work. I was the first point of contact for visitors and important collectors to the gallery when I would discuss works on sale and other enquiries. Along with supporting the director with administration and curatorial duties I also wrote and designed the Gallery Newsletter (email) and started the cataloguing the artists’ works.I also worked closely with the gallerist installing and de-installing exhibitions and at events such as the Hong Kong, Melbourne and Sydney Art Fairs. I liaised closely with represented artists and discovering ways in which the gallery could help them.

A small boutique graphic design company The role involved creating concepts through to finished artwork across a wide range of media and software programs. Due to the size of the business I was also involved in client liaison and admin duties.
