Initially working alongside both my role at FTC and my property development projects, I helped my wife establish Fresh To Desk. Working part time as a Project Manager I developed the technical products of the guest experience and internal management systems. After seeing the company through covid and reinventing its offer and structure, I am now looking to return full time to my Project Management career.• Developed an online ordering system using an offshore service team hosted on AWS.• Developed two mobile applications for guest engagement using Agile system development methods interfacing with both Epos and payment systems.• Developed data management procedures for customer data, menu design & allergen maintenance, financial reporting feeds & HR interfaces. Ensured data conversions and operating procedures are fully audited and routinely verified.• Setup IT infrastructure, internal and guest network requirements.

I was recruited to develop and instil Project Management disciplines into the team to ensure successful delivery of its clients’ projects. Working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within private and public sector organisations, I coached and introduced a mixture of Prince2 processes, AgilePM principles and methods to manage the delivery of a number of eCommerce digital media solutions, organisational refresh and new business lines for its high profile clients.

Project managed the specification, development, testing andimplementation of an online loan application and brochureware site.fairandsquare.co.uk – A stalled project, I was asked to take over as Project Manager and deliver to the original launch date. Re-engaged team and introduced Agile principles and methods in order to deliver project on time and help bring a new business to market.Broker Ridge Loans – Project managed the development of credit reference and telesales office applications.

Vice President of IT in a Project & Program Management roleResponsible for establishing and developing the programme to re-architect the business processing for OTC Derivative products; Establishing programme benefits, developing programme deliverables, resource profiles, team requirements, budgeting and communication plans within a Prince2 programme environment; Managing the development and implementation of projects across various departmental and global locations; Utilising an outsourced near-shore development team, in-house development and architecture teams and software vendor resource. • Assumed responsibility of a distressed project to implement a system to manage the creation, approval and exception management legal documentation. Responsible for managing the completion of the business process reengineering exercise, system design, build and implementation. Managing the relationship between in-house, outsourced and vendor development teams. Utilised Agile development methods for the software development teams whilst controlling in-house work packages with Prince2 to ensure corporate governance is maintained. Enabled acceleration of STP initiatives in parallel to the delivery of BAU items within the legacy environment. • Selected as the Programme Manager to investigate the elimination of the legacy systems. Formed a team to analyse the current process and produce a proposal for an end state process and end state system architecture. • Seconded to the Leveraged Finance Group in New York to develop a strategic architecture to manage trade documentation and archiving.• Project managed the development of the controls, procedures, tests and control improvement plans to ensure Derivatives IT became Sarbanes-Oxley compliant.• Managed the performance and stabilisation exercise of the in-house image and document management application.• Designed architecture for a central Management Information solution, eliminating legacy systems.

Initially employed by Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt as an Analyst Programmer to support and develop the GLOSS Finance and Settlement system. This involved working with users at all levels, locally and globally, to analyse their system requirements, produce functional specifications and aid with the development. My role was extended to Project Manage all Frankfurt back office IT developments. This involved co-ordination of project deliverables and team members, between the local site in Frankfurt and the various development and support teams based at the London, Dublin and New York Headquarters.• Electronic trade feed interfaces between front office DEAL (Equity Derivative) and Bloomberg (Debt) systems.• Improvement of Financial and Regulatory Reporting facilities.• Interfaces for internal reporting requirements to other Merrill Lynch entities.• Creating solutions for the stock, P&L and reconciliation during the conversion of Frankfurt Bank to the Dublin Bank.
