In this role I provide leadership in the identification, assessment, and management of school system technology needs for the Superintendent and in close coordination with the Archdiocese’s Director of Information Technology. A key component of the role is to develop and implement a strategic technology plan that contains an assessment of the current state of technology in the schools and incorporates best practices in instructional technology, infrastructure, and data analytics. Other responsibilities include: Establish and lead advisory committees that inform and support meaningful and effective technology in support of the school system’s strategic goals. Integrate technology with curriculum and instruction to provide an appropriate teaching and learning environment. Contribute to the coordination, planning and delivery of purposeful professional development (e.g., principals, teachers, staff, instructional specialists, parents). Promote the application of technology to address the diverse needs of students and maximize student learning (e.g., blended learning, educational platforms, STEM programs, online professional development for staff, Superintendent’s instructional programming network). Evaluate and recommend network infrastructure, hardware/software and technology device management (e.g., PARCC readiness, one-to-one applications). Assist in the evaluation of and provide recommendations for the E-Rate program. Develop and manage budgets, both annually and long-range (e.g., SMART Bond implementation, city/state/ federal funding). Direct, manage, and negotiate with vendors and business partners. Supervise a technology staff. Advise technology committees of regional boards. Establish systems and tools for gathering, warehousing, analyzing, integrating, and reporting accurate data in usable and meaningful ways (e.g., Census, SIS, ASSIST). Make decisions based on data and related processes in support of stakeholders.

Worked alongside account executives to design and plan PD and training programs for Non-Public school partners. Responsible for work plan and narrative writing and working directly with trainers and school principals.

Responsible for sales & operations of the PD department at Teq. Managed high performing team of 35 Instructional Technology Specialists and 4 Scheduling staff across two locations.Grew size of PD team and top line revenue by 500% in 6 years through effective recruiting, program management and efficiency of scheduling.Diversified PD offerings to be more relevant to schools, more cost effective and more profitable through partnerships with other companies and increased internal training.Managed Title I, Title IIA & Title III projects (over $1MM annually) with major Non-Public School customers. Managed entire project from conception and planning with District stakeholders and all interactions with the Division of Non-Public schools including work plans and program narrative writing.Trained educators on effectively incorporating technology into the classroom and developed innovative ways for applying technology into the classroom experience.

Performed Ergonomic/Assistive technology evaluations for students with disabilities to help provide them with access to the curriculum.Helped to implement and oversee the Inclusive Technology Program at the Henry Viscardi School by researching, designing and recommending classroom solutions and layout to best accommodate the population of students at the school.Provided in class coaching to teachers on the effective integration of technology into curricula and instruction.Created and presented trainings based on a variety of Assistive Technology products.Consulted with School Districts with regards to the implementation and training of Assistive Technology.Developed interactive online training modules for internal and external use.
