The IIOT and MES space come together with OT (Operational Technology) and IT to form the basis of new information gathering, sorting and dissemination to Business Leaders. Almost 80% of data created is trapped on the manufacturing shop floor. Using existing infrastructure along with practical new application methodologies I have created visibility to this data previously not available for analysis. Low overhead cost to implement the solutions and store the data are the hallmarks as well as quick turn around to realize value. Working with various engineers at our scattered facilities I am able to corral the specific data, store it for reporting and also create real time visualizations for shop floor processes.-Dave
