Community Program Support
CurrentInspection and Maintenance of AEDs:-Conduct regular inspections of over 300 defibrillators across 40 sites to ensure operational readiness.-Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) as needed.-Validate defibrillator registrations and maintain accurate records of locations and compliance with regulations.Community Responder Kits Management:-Assemble and maintain community responder kits in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.-Conduct regular audits of kits to identify expired items, collaborating with community responders for replacements.-Track inventory of community responder kits, documenting expiration dates and replenishment requirements.Warehousing and Inventory Management:-Organize and maintain a clean and efficient warehousing space for community safety program supplies.-Develop and implement an inventory management system to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.-Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies, ensuring timely restocking.Training Equipment Maintenance:-Inspect and maintain training equipment to ensure operational readiness post-training sessions.-Prepare and organize training supplies for community responder training, keeping an accurate inventory of materials.-Assist in setting up and dismantling training spaces, ensuring proper storage of equipment.Public Engagement and Community Support:-Collaborate with local businesses, schools, and organizations to enhance public access to defibrillators.-Support the Community Safety Specialist in events and activities aimed at increasing community involvement in the Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) program.-Engage community responders in first aid activities during events to promote safety awareness.
