This requires a combination of strong technical skills with a pragmatic and commercial approach - I understand my clients are running a business and the world around us is dynamic.My clients are typically working toward an end goal, so by the time of this end transaction, the businesses need to be tax-compliant with due diligence exercises a formality rather than a deal-breaker or a value-eroder.Although I work across a variety of sectors, the majority of my time is spent supporting technology businesses, advising on the taxation of IP development, protection and exploitation, including where these activities have an international element.
