I work in a unique partnership with our Film Director, Simon Morice. I am responsible for understanding our clients' audiences, working out the messages that should be communicated and then working with Simon who is responsible for weaving them into engaging, informative and effective films.This frequently involves much noisy aggressive argument but results in effective productions and, remarkably, we remain good friends.In addition I have a special interest in the reporting aspects of our work. Much of our work is at the cutting edge of complex subjects and the challenge is to understand and explain concepts in a way that genuinely accurate. My pet hate is listening to reports where the journalist has failed to take the time to understand the background and therefore the context and we are served misleading truths.

Independent consultant working in conjunction with a number of consultants accredited by the Institute for Independent Business.Elected a Fellow of the Institute I also assumed responsibility for training and development of new members. During this period I developed my knowledge of the Theory of Constraints and used it in conjunction with my knowledge of leadership and the development of leadership in organisations.

Responsible for developing consultancy services to medium sized companies. The company was an offshoot from PA Tech and provided support to Smaller hi-tech companies. We developed a unique "hands on" approach working to help companies adapt to rapid growth.I came to appreciate that a huge amount that I had learned during my time in the army was equally applicable to the civilian world...... providing I remembered that the armed forces are far more "democratic" than any civilian organisation!
