Maintained the networking and support infrastructure at Spark's (Formerly Telecom New Zealand) Network Infrastructure Lab. This was a test network used by Telecom to prove out new technologies before thy were implemented on their national telecommunications network. This included ISP and backbone level network infrastructure, mobile phone infrastructure, and landline networks.

1st level helpdesk for Spark's private leased line business customers. This was looking after the network infrastructure that connected a companies branch offices together. It was a proactive helpdesk where we would monitor our customer's routers, and contact them if we detected any issues. This was primarily looking after Cisco routers, and we would log onto those routers to perform various diagnostics to determine the cause of the problem, before sending our recommendations to 2nd tier to implement.
