Managed and participated hands on in the growth and daily functioning of the Network Operations department through nine years growth of a fast paced personalization market leader. Worked closely with Software Development, Account Management, Finance, and Office Operations departments to balance internal development efforts, customer needs and issues, and internal employee support. Interfaced directly with customers to resolve issues. Developed and managed Enliven’s Systems Administration department through extensive growth, and multiple mergers and separations with other companies. This included organizing and implementing Exchange migration, corporate network merges and separations, WAN connections, domain trusts, multiplatform mail integration, support of a variety of remote users, and extensive interaction with peers in remote locations via travel, voice and electronic communications.This position afforded me extensive experience in Windows NT and 2000 domain integration and migration, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 / 2000, Veritas Backup Exec, Microsoft IIS, Lucent telephone switches, physical security entry and intrusion systems, local and remote client support, Windows VPN and Terminal Services, Cisco routers and switchesIn addition to systems administration, I also provided additional support for the Network Operations team, including administration and maintenance of a global Internet ad serving infrastructure. This infrastructure included geographically load balanced datacenters using Alteon switches, Compaq servers, and Microsoft Windows Server / IIS running custom serving and reporting modules, as well as an extranet that provided customers with a wide variety of information and control of their ad campaigns.
