Serving as Sr. Quality Assurance Manager, I am responsible for the product and process quality for Gardner Denver's industrial blower and compressor manufacturing sites in Sedalia, MO, Princeton, IL, and Manteca, CA. As Sr. Quality Assurance Manager, I am responsible to ensure that each site has processes that conform with the ISO-9001 international quality standard as well as the AAR-M1003 railroad specific quality standards. Managing a team consisting of quality managers, engineers, and technicians at each of the facilities, I have the responsibility to ensure that all products are produced to proper engineering specifications following controlled and consistent processes. Utilizing sound engineering practices and lean manufacturing principles my team is responsible for driving down scrap costs, increasing first pass yield, ensuring customer on time delivery commitments are met, performing root cause analysis on customer concerns, and working with the other senior management, ensuring overall plant financial targets are achieved.

Manage all plant facilities engineering and outside services.Manage all plant maintenance, stockroom, MRO, and Preventive / Predictive Maintenance activities.Oversee plant capital budget.Manage key capital projects.

Manage plant wide capital projects to improve production performance in the manufacturing of rotary style industrial air compressors. Make recommendations on capital equipment acquisitions. Manage outside contractors. Lead lean improvement teams.

Responsible for all operations, maintenance, and quality assurance aspects of the finishing focus factory for a tier 1 automotive supplier. Area of responsibility included two electrocoat paint lines, one liquid paint line, cladding, and packaging operations to produce 30,000 steel wheels per day.

Responsible for a 150 employee manufacturing facility for the production of cables and sensors used in the seismic industry for gas and oil exploration. Manufacturing processes included bulk seismic cable twisting and extrusion, plastic injection molding, electronics assembly, soldering, potting, manual and automated mechanical assembly of small components

Responsible for a 175 employee electrical wire and cable manufacturing facility, including Production, Engineering, QA, Human Resources, Accounting, Purchasing, Scheduling, & Maintenance
