David is a Senior Project Manager on a variety of storm water compliance, solar, utility, mitigation, habitat restoration, and regulatory permitting projects throughout the United States. He brings 11 years of project management experience, having worked with a range of clients from small private landowners to program management for international clients. He embraces a collaborative approach and has an understanding of how to build diverse project delivery teams to meet client objectives. In addition to being an experienced project manager, David is a certified Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP), Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).David obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Ecological Restoration from Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt). He has been involved in storm water permitting and compliance for Multi-Sector General Permit and Construction General Permit projects spanning across 40 states, with a primary focus on California and Oregon. Additionally, he has managed mitigation and restoration projects within California. David’s other areas of expertise include: regulatory permitting (401, 404, and 1600 permits), restoration design, environmental remediation, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (SWPPP) development, stream bank management, data collection technology, stormwater sampling technology, biotechnical restoration, large scale program management, proposal development, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan development. David also brings extensive knowledge of California and Oregon wildlife, plant flora, CEQA/NEPA, and soils. His varied experience throughout these states includes design, construction, and installation of biotechnical restoration structures, SWPPP compliance & reporting, vegetation mapping, biological resource assessments, soil classification, wetland delineation, soil analysis, and biological surveys.
