It started in my parents’ backyard working on the family car. With a desire to follow my father’s footsteps, I decided at a young age I wanted to be an automotive mechanic. I was able to start working for a family owned service station. Driving toward my goal it was another step closer to the dream of becoming an accomplished mechanic. I obtained employ from the City of Fruita in 2004 and through hard work was able to rise in the ranks. During the last five years I have been gaining experience and skills in administration from the City of Fruita that has been an asset to my career. Due to my limited credentials, I found it difficult to advance beyond what I had already attained. After determining new life goals, I enrolled in Colorado Christian University seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in order to expand my employment options. I have been attending for two years and am with-in arm’s reach of my Associates in the same field. I started as a Summer Temp and worked with tenacity, diligence and a willingness to learn I earned the title of Fleet Manager. I'm grateful for the opportunities that have been afforded to me.
