CurrentEnsure the effective delivery of supplier to shelf execution & delivery of inventory requirements (DIFOT, Working Capital) while concurrently managing landing costs. Analyse past sales patterns, upcoming promotional activity, market trends & seasonality to accurately forecast future product demand, baseline and promotional, for local and international lines.Focus has mainly been on developing suppliers and managing supply & demand planning for Frozen Vegetables and Global Cuisines, but have also gained experience with and worked with suppliers across Protein & Meals, Frozen Desserts, Ice Cream, Frozen Snacks, Dairy & Gourmet Cheese, Convenience Meals & Ready Meals.Worked closely with international supply and demand planners and category managers to improve forecasting accuracy, finding higher baselines & promo ceilings for both local and international lines. Suppliers are thrilled at the greater on-shelf availability, stronger sales volumes & more predictable order plans they now receive.Grew weekly sales for my Category Managers by instituting a collaboration process for Limited Time Only & Seasonal SKU’s (including demand forecasting and sell through performance reviews), whilst also minimising high risk promotion cancellations, short of code stock in DC’s, MLOR breaches, waste & markdowns & excess DC stock on hand.Led a project to reduce delivery order lead times and increase the reliability and accuracy of deliveries impacted by public holidays, across the freezer team, encouraging greater communication with suppliers, leading to improved DIFOT, at a time when DIFOT usually decreases.Managed my team on multiple occasions during my managers absence, receiving positive feedback for having an above and beyond attitude towards my role
