Blyth Offshore Demonstrator

LGS ltd. provided construction management services for this demonstrator offshore wind project off the Northumberland coast with EDF. The project featured a number of industry firsts; the world's largest turbines (albeit briefly), 'float and submerge' concrete gravity base foundations constructed locally on the Tyne and a 66kV transmission system.
