In the role of Manager of Strategic Communications in the office of the President of the Treasury Board, Min. Peter Bethlenfalvy, my primary responsibilities were: • Long-term communications planning• Management of external Ministerial communications• Liaising with the Premier’s Office on messaging and long-term strategy• Organization of events and announcements• Drafting Minister’s public remarks• Drafting Minister’s internal remarks to Cabinet and government Committees and Boards• Drafting of blogs, op-eds, and other public materials• Social media content development, analysis, and account management

My primary responsibilities in these positions were: • Responding to media inquiries• Development of talking points and communications documents• Ongoing engagement with journalists• Digital content creation • Online community management• Preparation for Question Period

I was part of the initial team at Navigator to launch the subsidiary Pinpoint, dedicated to digital communications strategy, design and practice. Brought on board to ensure strong research capabilities for the new venture, I quickly took on a growing list of responsibilities, including: • Quantitative and qualitative research facilitation and analysis• Producing and presenting client-facing reports and decks• Government relations and lobbying• Business development• Client management• Running and managing paid digital advertising campaigns• Writing blogs, articles and other public-facing content for Navigator and its clients• Developing and managing social media accounts and online communities• Developing and writing proposals, client pitches and presentations• Writing advertising copyDuring this time I also hosted and produced two of Navigator's public-facing podcasts: Legalized (focused on the cannabis industry), and Political Traction (a weekly look at top news stories in Canada and around the world through the lens of strategic communications).

In November 2015, I became an Associate Consultant in Navigator’s research department, transitioning from a Junior Consultant with a focus on general communications. My primary responsibilities included:• Focus group and dial-testing facilitation across Canada• Writing, fielding and analyzing quantitative surveys• Designing and developing research decks• Development and writing of research reports• Presentation of findings to clients• Regular client engagementDuring this period, Navigator also released a post-election, pan-Canadian research project, which I was deeply involved with in both the facilitation of research and production of written analysis. Navigator also began publishing Perspectives, a magazine focused on communications, politics and business, for which I wrote and edited articles, and designed political cartoons and illustrations.

In December 2013, I was promoted to Junior Consultant, where my duties were supplemented with additional research and communications work, specifically the production of social media reports outlining the online conversations taking place about our clients. I was also involved in a number of qualitative research projects, travelling across Canada to facilitate focus groups and dial-testing groups.

I started work at Navigator as an intern during my final year of study at the University of Toronto. My duties included:• Proofreading reports and proposals• Drafting Letters of Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreements• Designing presentations• Social media tracking and analysis• Focus group facilitationDuring this time, I also helped to draft preliminary material for Navigator’s CEOcap™ offering, which was designed to build the public profiles of C-suite executives throughout Canada.

In 2010, I became the manager/lead hand of all bars at the Festival's Avon Theatre.

I worked as a bartender at the Stratford Festival throughout my time at university, serving patrons at the theatres and at a number of wedding receptions and special events.
