Pursuing my purpose of pleasing and glorifying God by mobilizing people and resources to fulfill the Great Commission led me to serve on the leadership team at a Bible college. After 24 years as a pastor and 11 in adoption and orphan care, I am now involved in discipling college students and launching them around the world to be kingdom servants of Jesus Christ. My desire is to invest in students so they will be equipped to spend themselves for the sake of the Gospel.I got involved in helping orphans find forever homes by assisting Christian families to adopt. I have helped churches to engage in the wonderful ministry of adoption and orphan care. I built relationships with donors who will partner to advance this ministry of adoption. I have been an advocate in Tallahassee, Washington, D.C., Bishkek, and Bucharest to influence policy and legislation connected to adoption, foster care and pro-life issues.Before that I was a local church pastor teaching, preaching and leading believers to have a heart for the Lord and the lost, for their neighbors and the nations. I continue to have a special love for Romania and continues to engage as I am able in ministry there.Today I spend my time with students and alumni to serve them as they prepare for and engage in ministry or the marketplace in whatever vocation to which God calls them.Email: dwooten@reformationbiblecollege.org
