This was a solo practice, akin to a "hobby farm". I did not charge clients more than they could afford and, at times, nothing at all. I just wanted to cover my overhead while keeping my hand in something I loved and had defined me for more than I could remember. Although I retired when my eyesight began to fail, as did my memory, I have recently contacted a medium sized firm about a paralegal position. Just can't seem to give up being around "the law".

Trial lawyer, specializing in products liability defense. Also served as "all purpose utility infielder" partnering with firm lawyers caught up in the occasional litigation matter and not knowing a courtroom from a bathroom. Finally, with another partner, served as co-leader of the firm's Far East practice section. In that capacity, we traveled annually to China, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea meeting with prospective clients, government officials and others while giving lectures on product liability law in the United States - where all these countries wanted to tap into our large consumer market.
