I am an experienced accounting professional with extensive knowledge of corporate processes. I have provided financial reporting and policy advice to senior management and provided leadership to accounting staff both in their day to day activities as well as when introducing innovation and change.To maximize the contribution I can make to an organisation I have always been concerned to provide insights beyond that of a narrow interpretation of accounting embracing the clarity good strategic planning and management will bring to the success of an organisation.I have a career long interest to find, understand and implement appropriate innovation and change in financial policy and development. As a result of this, I consider the work of the IIR Committee on integrated reporting to be significant and important.
