Markey's is an equipment rental and live event management company in corporate theater and audiovisual presentations. Their expertise ranges from simple paper flipcharts to complex Emmy style live events. Markey’s operates several offices across the Midwest and travels to events across the US and internationally.I was the manager of the computer equipment used for event support and integration, class room training, registrations, kiosk automation, display signage, and any other event needs that could use a computer. I was involved with direct customers sales and support by developing solutions and integrating with customer equipment and needs. I also purchased and maintained all computer rental equipment. Using industry standard equipment and software I designed a system that could receive, securely clean, and image hundreds of computers per day. My experience at Markey’s was fantastic. I was fortunate to work with very intelligent and talented people, as well as many of the top companies in the US. Every event was a new and exciting challenge of integration, logistics, and performance.
