I work with public and private sector clients to develop and deliver innovative solutions to complex problems affecting people and the environment. I have over 30 years of experience in leading climate change, environment and energy policy reform in the UK and Australia to drive the transition to a nature positive net zero economy.I have a particular focus on the design and operation of high integrity environmental markets, integrating science, law and economics to provide incentives for private investment.I am currently working on markets in the UK, Australia and Brazil for water efficiency, nutrient pollution reduction, distributed energy supply, flood mitigation and biodiversity conservation. My work in the energy sector includes mid-large scale renewable energy development, energy regulation, technology innovation and consumer protection. I hold a practicing certificate as a lawyer in Australia, and have a JD and MBA from the University of Melbourne (Aus), and a BSc with Honours from the University of Liverpool (UK).
