United States Navy: Worked as an Operations Specialist aboard the USS Arlington and performed work in the Combat Information Center managing 24 personnel in the tactical nerve center of the ship. Using a wide variety of assets available I was responsible for the detailed organization, collection, processing, display, competent evaluation and rapid dissemination of pertinent tactical combat information to command and control stations, upon which sound tactical decisions or recomendations will be made. Maneuvered course and speeds of ship based on specialized proficiency of local winds, weather, water depths, tides, currents, and hazards. Maintained the warship under navigational control from engaging in unsafe operations and assisted in controlling over 300 hours of amphibious craft launch and recovery evolutions while also Monitoring over 400 hours of flight operations. This Ensured safety of over 700 Sailors and Marines along with proper operation and safe function of $1.5 billion worth of United States Assets.
