And the rest losing market shares, being pretty slow in their own developments. With the change in media, the transformation and possibilities with TV and Internet we identified opportunities to use media houses and internet distribution to build a stronger unit for a higher consumption for both entertainment and lottery products - based on the Swedish legal lottery system, of sharing for the greater good. The set was differentiated lottery products, as Trafficlottery, "allemanslottery" etc. into a substantial live weekly TV show on prime time - for the whole family, young as older - an ongoing satuday nighter - live. Done before, totally possible with the right producers and creative content. Taking that crazy step beyond the circle of trust. So what happens? We did the research, we went to LA / USA and meet TV folks, and big hot shoots in big Beverly Hills Villas. We got the attention. Smart TV bosses understood, brand and all around as well. We played it as simple Swedish people do. And did not get the money we needed.But we build a lottery-machine backend, and we launched 3- 4 different lottery, and I think we had logos on some leasing cars as well - and tried, and tried. And then I was invited to the castle of the Socialdemocratic Party, for a meeting with their lottery company leadership. It ended up in selling Nordic Lottery for a dime, or two. The machine behind, Mattias Blomquist is the hero, I was only a sidekick. Lessons learned: If you shall go big - you got to go big all over. When you meet the hot shoots - aim high, and show no fear. And winning on a lottery ticket is still almost impossible possible. -
