Riverview Jazz presents a number of events throughout the year, including the Jersey City Jazz Festival (now in its 11th year), Hoboken Musica, the Jersey City Latin Jazz Festival, and much more. The managing director handles the administration and behind-the-scenes running of all of the produced events.

The Office of University Events (OUE) has 3 areas of concentration - Event Management (including Commencement), University Center Visitor Relations, and DeBaun Performing Arts Center. It was created to meet the ever increasing need to support events on (and sometimes off) campus, including the booking of event spaces on campus (classrooms, all-purpose rooms, lounges, athletic facilities, outdoor spaces and our historic 450 seat theater), management of campus-wide events such as Admitted Students Wkd, Family Wkd, Orientation, and Career Fairs and Alumni Wkd, and full production of our student performing arts (multiple theater groups and musical ensembles) and Commencement events. OUE at its largest included 10 full time and 3 part time professional staff, along with 30-40 student staff, handling between 20-40 events weekly.

DeBaun Center for Performing Arts produces and presents the non-academic student performing arts organizations at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. In addition to working with the multiple theater companies and music ensembles on campus, the Center developed partnerships with local performing arts professionals and companies to present Shakespeare, original plays and music, modern dance and poetry, children's shows, classical music and opera for the Stevens and Hoboken Communities. Most events were held at the historic 450 seat theater on campus, DeBaun Auditorium, built in 1870 and renovated in 1998. The department also physically maintains the space and its equipment. When time and space are available, DeBaun is open to outside rentals by non-profit organizations in the local area. This along with certain development and fundraising activities were expected of The Center, especially during its first 10 years.In addition to the DeBaun Auditorium, the Center manages the Ondrick Music Room, which is home to the Stevens Concert Band, Choir, Jazz Band, Orchestra, and smaller ensembles (Brass, Woodwind, Flute, and Strings). The Music Room has one large rehearsal space along with 3 smaller rehearsal rooms, all with acoustic pianos, that are open daily for all Stevens students to use. Lessons have also been given throughout the years in voice, piano, violin, bass, and other instruments, along with workshops in theater and dance.

Originally named the DeBaun Players, The Theater Company (TTC) is based in Hudson County, NJ, and has been presenting musicals and plays since 2000.TTC's mission is to produce theatrical productions that are accessible to people of every age, involving a diverse group of people on stage and off. TTC has amassed years of theater experience in both the professional and community realms. Their goal is to combine professionals, community members, students and children in productions so everyone can learn from each other and benefit from each other’s experiences.The Theater Company is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.

Directed over 60 young people (ages 4 to 18) in 3 choirs over a 10-year period. Also, from 1997-2002, coordinated the 3 youth groups (5th-6th grade, Junior High, and Senior High) and their respective youth leaders in general planning, fundraisers, service projects, and trips.

Executive Assistant to the Witco Vice President of Research and Development for Polymers. In addition to the standard duties of keeping schedules, making travel accommodations, filing and organizing, answering phones and emails, planning meetings and catering, etc., I was also tasked with overall management of the Tarrytown facility, which included tracking upwards of 40 employees and their vacation/sick time, ordering and keeping in stock office supplies, maintenance of office equipment such as faxes and copiers, break room supplies, etc. Due to need, I also became first point of contact for customer service calls, and guest relations for any and all visitors, including visiting executives from other divisions.

Provided technical support by phone and email (or in person when needed) to WestNet customers, who were mostly internet service providers. Trained on trouble-shooting technical issues and handled customer support on a daily basis. In addition reached out to local companies (throughout Westchester County) to partner with WestNet in offering internet service to their clients.
