Regional It ManagerLoews Cineplex Jul 2004 - Mar 2006Michigan And MidwestWhen Loews purchased Star Theatres I was kept on in an IT role supporting the Michigan regional office and locations in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona and California.While at Loews:I developed the in-house data shuttling system that transported POS sales data from every site to the home office.I had the one of the only regions where Windows updates and AV definitions were continually updated, and the only region that was not affected by a computer virus that crippled the home office and many regional offices.My experience at Loews taught me the importance of taking care of staff members and managers - loyalty should flow not just from the bottom up to the top it should also be from the top down. I learned that in retail where the experience is key to continued survival the staff is the most important asset to the business - happy staff leads to infectious passion to ensure every guest has a great experience. -
