Building on 15 years of experience in almost every facet of online marketing David Davidson has helped lead large companies through complex eCRM, ecommerce and ERP integrations. In the early 2000’s he pioneered EMI Music’s direct-to-consumer online sales and marketing efforts integrating CMS, e-commerce and eCRM platforms. In 2007 David joined echo, a Ticketmaster company, as Director of E-commerce and set the functionality requirements of a custom e-commerce platform, the first of its kind to offer physical and digital products, seamless integration with business systems, and best-in-class user experience. In 2009 Davidson started his own consulting company to help companies with complex products and distribution navigate online marketing, eCRM, and e-commerce for successful implementations. On his decision to start his own business Davidson says, “Working through the complexities of the distribution channel and product mix in the music and entertainment space gave me a valuable perspective that relates to other verticals. Most any e-commerce or eCRM platform can sell widgets just fine but many businesses have their own unique set of complications that make off-the-shelf solutions too confining. It is these clients I believe I can help the most."After consulting with IRON Solutions for 6 months Davidson joined Iron Solutions full time as Director of e-Commerce and Sales Administration and is now Product Manager.
