Lead Outside Plant Technician, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan (2012 – 2014) Outside Plant Technician, Camp Buehring, Kuwait (2012)Within six months into position, promoted to Lead Outside Plant Technician due to excellent performance delivered in Kuwait project. In Afghanistan, led the Operation and Maintenance for a 12-person team at the world’s largest NATO installation to provide US Army strategic communications for three independent, classified and unclassified, networks. Primary responsibilities included: developing and implementing the inaugural migration of the Air Force network onto the Army network; completing an aerial remediation plan for 40+ buildings; engineering and installing a fiber path for 5 base defense RAID towers; implementing Google Earth infrastructure project for cable records and drawings; maintaining 600+ Manhole Distribution system; completing installation and repair for network cables and recording in BMC Remedy Software. Left this position after nearly two years to return to work closer to home.
