I am an intrinsically motivated sustainability oriented built environment specialist. My areas of passion span energy efficiency, electric vehicles, demand management, energy storage coupled with renewable generation, and building science. As a critically thinking change leader, I provide a technical and customer service background. I am interested in facilitating dialogue, understanding diverse viewpoints, and seeking new knowledge in order to grow my ability to create positive impacts in the world and my community. I am equally comfortable researching and developing innovative new offerings; presenting to the public, peers, or a board of directors; analyzing data or reviewing technical schematics. I believe successful change in the built environment requires collaboration with grass roots organizations, business interests, governmental and non-governmental organizations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. When I am not up to my neck in work, my wife and I spend time with our three sons in the mountains with packs on our backs, riding our bikes, floating on our raft, or skiing down the slopes.
