I was engaged to manage deployment of Unified Communications/Telephony and Mobility services for a global bank with 100k users. Most recent project involved implementation of an automation platform to orchestrate management, provisioning and migration across the bank's diverse estate of voice, collaboration and compliance systems. The project will deliver significant cost savings as well as improving compliance and end user experience. Delivery is following an agile/Scrum model, where my role as Product Owner enabled UBS to accelerate delivery and realisation of benefits. Previous work with the bank involved leading the deployment of the Skype for Business Mobile application. Crucial to satisfying the bank's stringent information security requirements was the implementation and integration of the PointSharp application, a third party product that securely authenticates mobile users to the SfB platform using a One Time Passcode (OTP). The project is a key component of the Bank's strategic objective to enable access any time, anywhere and on any device. It is also the key enabler of a BlackBerry reclaim programme, moving users on to a Bring Your Own Device platform with annual savings in the multiple $m.

I led a global communications and telephony transformation programme, including implementation of new Unified Communication platform and enterprise mobility strategy introducing BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) to an organisation with 14k users. Key achievements include: ☛Coordinated communications campaign to prepare business for replacement of physical desk phones with software-based telephony. ☛Eliminated 3rd party conferencing costs of $600k p/a in first 12 months of programme.☛Secured initial 12-month savings in telephony costs of $4m, with further annual savings >$3m.☛Targeted annual savings of $2.4m in mobile telephony costs through combination of behavioural change and new technology.☛Balanced need to leverage existing investments in Cisco Call Manager and Video Conferencing with business decision to implement Microsoft Lync as strategic UC platform.☛Created strategy and implementation plan for decommissioning of BlackBerry and introduction of smart devices.

I managed the development and implementation of new Cost Time Reporting (CTR) system for large scale engineering projects ($100m+) based on MS Project Server 2013.
