David Cameron graduated from The University of Western Ontario (UWO) with Honors Mathematics and Computer Science and obtained his MBA at McMaster University. David is a CMA and attended the Graduate School of Credit & Financial Management at Dartmouth College, Tuck School of Business, resulting in his Certified Credit Executive (CCE) designation. David subsequently also obtained his CPB designation and holds the Osgoode Law School Certificate in Pension Law. David is a Registered Tax Professional with the CRA EFILE service.He started his career in Hamilton working in the metals industry for Arcelor Mittal Dofasco in Information Technology and then Credit Management before moving to Columbus, Ohio to start up a manufacturing business as the Director Finance for a 7-year period. David returned to Canada and joined Walmart Canada as the Director Finance in order to lead a large-scale global ERP project based out of Rogers Arkansas, USA. He then went on to work as the CFO for 2 manufacturing companies in Ontario leading a steel business startup and a telecommunications manufacturing business turnaround before founding Core Tec Systems in 2015.Core Tec Systems is Microsoft Partner providing support and services to small and medium sized business in Canada with Microsoft 365 Training, providing Microsoft software, and Business Central & Dynamics CRM implementation engagements. He is as comfortable discussing business issues at an Executive and Board level, as he is on technical issues with subject matter specialists. He believes in building long standing relationships with clients and colleagues, premised on integrity, commitment and excellence. David has done business in Canada, USA, Mexico, Romania, England, Germany, and China.In 2022 David was engaged by the School of Business at Fanshawe College as a Professor on partial load to initially focus on teaching students about Professional Sales and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software as a Sales Professional.
