My journey in retail began at the age of 11 as a helper, and as a teenager, I started my career working behind the register at the local ICA store. After 15 years of hard work, I became an ICA retailer and later also an ICA ambassador. Today, I run ICA Supermarket The Northern Lights, where we provide our local community with food worth approximately €5.2 million annually.For me, business is about more than just numbers – it’s about people and creating long-term value through trust, transparency, and care. I strive to build a community that benefits everyone around us. My leadership is based on engaging my team in initiatives that go beyond the supermarket, such as ‘Yoga with purchase’ and VAT-free intimate hygiene products.I strongly believe that success comes from healthy relationships, both in work and in life. I aim to create a workplace where trust and openness lead to personal and professional development. Through mentorship, I’ve seen many former employees go on to successful careers, something I’m very proud of.Outside of work, I lead communities focused on sustainability and future transportation, including Tesla Superchargers Sweden, with a total of around 10,000 members. I also engage in volunteer work to support young people, which has given me insights into the importance of empathy and support.I’m convinced that business success and social responsibility go hand in hand. My leadership is about making a positive impact – in large initiatives as well as in everyday interactions.
