Production Way DirectorValpak Jan 2003 - Apr 2007St Petersburg, Florida, UsResponsible for overall project management, contract negotiations and IT solution design for Valpak's $220 Million project to reinvent their manufactuing operations. The team started with a blank sheet of paper and we were tasked to find a new way to produce the Valpak envelope with the ultimate goal of reducing our cost of goods sold. As a team we designed a solution, obatin approval from the Cox Enterprise board for the $220 Million investment and then implemented the solution that included a complex integration of equipment, systems, a building and organizational design efforts. Total project took about 4 years from concept to opening. Overall project had a 7 year payback period.
