I support technical and functional solutions and services for the Colleges, Schools, and Professional Services departments. I deliver against the main IT strategy, local IT service needs, and the broader University strategy. All documents are checked including settlement figures, CCJ information, council discount information, payslips, employer’s references etc. I then advised my sales staff of the information required by each lender so that the customer has a pain free application process. I check the financial conduct on customer’s credit accounts with Equifax and Experian, carrying out further searches where necessary in order to protect the various companies lending interest. My flexibility proves an asset to me when dealing with the heavy workloads with tight deadlines, and as previous psychometric testing indicates, I have extremely good levels of patience and self-control, which also helps each situation. My accuracy is something that I have tried to develop and maintain in my everyday personal life and it is proving a great asset for me as attention to detail was needed for this position and it is something I feel suites me perfectly. I was awarded The Underwriter of the month for the last 2 consecutive months of employment, which is a great achievement amongst 10 other Underwriters.
