At this point in my professional career I am committed to the betterment of the community that I belong to, and driven by the purpose of better serving my neighbors and friends. I manage all aquatics facilities for the city of Saint Paul, including staffing, supervision, budget, strategic planning, customer service, community engagement and development. We successfully recruit, train and develop over 300 lifeguards every summer, and staff our indoor facility year around. On average we serve upwards of 500 a day during the summer and partner with local and national organizations to better deliver our services. Under my leadership the program has broaden its impact, served more people, growth our outreach efforts and increased its prestige and reputation earning accolades and awards on the national stage, more recently being recognized as the first ever National Water Safety Champion. I hold and maintain a Lifeguard Trainer License, Lifeguard Certification, with First Aid and CPR and am a Certified Park & Recreation Professional member.
