After a 2-year Undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering, I pursued in the aerospace industry through a Master's apprenticeship program. This atypical path led to several achievements:• A 3-year experience as an engineer in the quality department at Airbus Nantes (France)• An opportunity to express my leadership on three global projects for Airbus (France, Germany, UK)• The successful application of these projects on many aircraft programs (A320, A330, A350, A380, A400M)• A master of science degree in mechanical engineering in 2015After graduation, two colleagues and I decided to start an entrepreneurship project based on the development of a regional network for recycled materials between companies in the aerospace industry. The project suffered from a lack of financial support and ended in 2017.As a space science and space exploration enthusiast, I enrolled in a Ph.D. Graduate program in Space Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech, USA) in January 2018. My research on the Earth’s atmosphere dynamics was funded by NASA and NSF from May 2019 to May 2021, and led to:• The development of a 4D non-hydrostatic ray-tracing model for the atmospheric gravity-wave propagation• The publication of two research articles in the Journal of Geophysical Research – Atmospheres• A contribution to build nano-satellites with the "Virginia Cubesat Constellation" team• The publication of a conference paper for the 2019 IEEE Aerospace Conference• The publication of my Ph.D. dissertation entitled: "The Influence of Obliquely Propagating Monsoon Gravity Waves on the Polar Summer Mesosphere"• The completion of my Ph.D. in May 2021Today, I am a research engineer in space surveillance and tracking at ONERA – The French Aerospace Lab in Toulouse (France) where major challenges are waiting to be faced.
