I am responsible for developing new software solutions including insurance software products utilising PASOE, Webclient and Telerik controls as well as REST webservices. I created an innovative product development strategy and insurance product including managing a small team of technical software developers and programmes throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).I utilised my technical expertise as well as project management experience to develop software solutions covering scoping, technical specification, testing and validation, user interface management, and training support.Projects I undertook during my time included the following:- I provided freelance services to different clients including Water Billing applications involving managing software development, UAT testing, and post go live support.- I worked on various projects for as a software developer covering technical developments, testing, UAT and post go live support in line with project specifications.- I implemented Progress Dynamics software project for a client including billing and control functionality in line with agreed technical specifications.- I delivered the Teleview editorial system covering data transition, migration, and electronic programming for a major broadcaster including associated web services.

In this role I lead the IT function covering the development of core company software product, internal infrastructure and applications and the day-to-day IT support activities. I have built and manage the overall team covering IT service management, cyber security protocols, and data protection standards. I have developed the IT strategy and product roadmap in line with changing market demands and feedback from customers including the implementation of a mobile application and online portal for customer self service. This has included ensuring all internal IT infrastructure and applications are optimised in line with target operating model including outsourcing key applications and services such as hosting and cloud applications.I successfully supported the organisation through its development and growth since start-up in 2016, firstly as a consultant, before then becoming the IT Director after they purchased Mandon Software Limited in 2021. I joined the Senior Management team and during my time working with the company both as an employee and consultant I established the IT function covering internal IT Service Management, external service providers, and the IT strategy. For example, I led the development of a mobile app and online portal for customers which enabled customers to self-serve which enhanced staff productivity. I have maintained relationships across the organisation as part of the Senior Management team covering the day-to-day operations and financial management. I contribute to the development of the company strategy across different functions and target markets with a focus on growth and securing new customer accounts. I identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve KPIs, and drive performance compared to market competitors and implementing process and functionality improvements accordingly.
