Lead developer of ERP systems and manager of server and network infrastructure for an international craft paint manufacturing company. Goals have been focusing on improving employee performance and efficiency, impacting company growth through creating and enhancing technical processes, implementing enterprise-level data security and backups, and upgrading server and network configuration.Responsibilities include: • The design and implementation of a new, custom, web-based ERP system to replace an existing legacy system. This is being accomplished through planning and implementing the conversion and modification of existing pieces of the old system as well as developing new modules from the ground up. Systems include: manufacturing and resource planning, production reporting and scheduling, distribution, order entry and processing, invoice processing, EDI transmission and reception, and customer management. • Strategic management of development team to ensure timely release of new modules, software cohesiveness through the company, thorough testing, and great usability. • Direction of server/network/help-desk activities and goals to improve our IT infrastructure and manufacturing operations. Projects have included virtualization of main servers, new network topology and wiring, roll-out of Active Directory and implementation of enterprise-level backups.

As part of our IT team, my responsibility has been to lead the conversion and development of our legacy ERP system into a modern, web-based solution. I am designing and implementing the new system primarily in PHP, relying heavily on Javascript and a MySQL back-end. Co-owner and lead developer of the company's website. Site has been through several iterations, from purely HTML and Javascript, to Flash, and now to PHP driven by a hand-coded, custom developed PHP CMS. This site utilizes responsive web design in order to appear optimally on screens of all sizes, including phones and tablets.

Responsible for the maintenance and development of nearly 80 websites spanning various industries. Working closely with the Marketing and Design teams, we were able to completely revamp and deploy several major websites utilizing newer technologies and coding principles.In addition to the front-end development and maintenance of our company websites, responsibilities also included the development of several internal web applications to streamline productivity and enhance employee and departmental efficiency. Web applications included contract and vendor management, employee time clock management, as well as various electronic form submissions with back-end reporting.
