Reporting to the CEO, I directed sales and clinical support in the United States, Canada, and Latin America for this then $90 million pre-IPO corporation selling surgical capital equipment, disposable procedure kits, and radioactive brachytherapy seeds to Urologists and Radiation Oncologists for the treatment of prostate and renal cancer. Integrated two sales organizations following the July 2003 merger of Amersham Health and Galil Medical. Created an entirely new sales organization including definition of roles, territory design, quotas, training, compensation plans, selling tools, policies and procedures.

Coordinated the commercial effort for the Western U.S. selling capital equipment and disposable catheters to Urologists for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Responsible for creating and implementing promotional programs to drive patient awareness and demand.

Orchestrated all sales and marketing activities for the Business Unit with an annual sales goal of $119 million with profit/loss accountability. Supervised the company's Six Sigma process improvement projects and chaired a multi-departmental committee aimed at improving organizational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Created and implemented the sales and marketing strategic plan consistent with the unit's annual budget. Additional responsibilities include organizational design, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing.
