Responsible for publicising the activities of the Council within the community and beyond. Including managing the website, social media (Twitter & Facebook), writing press releases, designing and curating the Keynsham Business Directory and collating and editing content for the Keynsham News magazine.Involved in the Town Council’s art activities; researching, copywriting, designing and editing multimedia projects, including the Keynsham Station posters, the Keynsham Arts magazine and a video for the twinning anniversary celebrations.Creating and deploying emails for the Keynsham Business Forum and managing the contact list.Event promotion and organisation; implementing online ticketing, arranging and preparing venues and programme design.

I designed and implemented web pages, email newsletters and social media graphics.The main challenge was working within a well-established framework that restricted techniques and features available to the designer. During my time at Yankee, I tried to implement industry standard design and code, to improve the user experience. This was most successfully achieved with a '12 Days of Christmas' competition allowed the user to enter through an interactive calendar.

As a Digital Designer I design and develop websites for events, promotions and campaigns across the south west publications managed by Bristol News & Media

As project coordinator on the 'Social Mirror' project, I am required to organise the project on the ground. This includes marketing the project in the local area using social media and blogging,signing up and training local groups and keeping up to date spreadsheets of thegroups and volunteers that are involved in the project.

Working in the Concessions team my main role was to manage the relationshipswith Yankee’s Italian retailers by dealing with phone queries and translating emailsand newsletters. I also processed orders and catalogued marketing materials.

Working on the ‘Entry Level Employment in Bristol’s Creative Industry Sector’, Iorganised and carried out interviews with young people trying to break into thecreative industries in the Bristol area.

My main role is to design and build websites. I perform changes to live sites andhave setup Google Adword campaigns as well as advising on other areas of SEO.

I have designed and constructed several sites independently using Open Source Content Management Systems.

I was employed as a one-on-one student support practitioner with a severely autistic child and later moved into the P.E. department. During my time at the school I accompanied a group of Sixth Form students on a Hiking trip in the French Alps as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
